What are your feelings about making mistakes?

If you’re like a lot of people, it probably terrifies you. But, did you know that mistakes are often the groundwork of great discoveries?

Take for instance an 11 year-old boy by the name of Frank Epperson. One cold night he left his stir stick in a glass of fruit water outside. He awoke the next morning to find his stir stick stuck inside the fruit water, frozen. A mistake. That mistake led to the accidental discovery of the popsicle. Years later and after a lot of refining, Frank's mistake made him a successful business.

So what happens when you fear making mistakes?

You become frozen. But, unlike Frank Epperson’s fruitful mistake, being frozen isn’t in your best interest.
